The Journal is produced in colour, usually on 72 pages and mailed to members quarterly.

David Cowgill took over as Journal Editor in January 2024. He has been a member of the Society for over 30 years and is building his own steeply graded RhB-themed garden layout, which is still a work in progress after 10 years

Submissions from members are welcome and should generally be sent a minimum of 6 weeks before the publication date (see Copy Dates right).

The text should be supplied as Microsoft Word or Open Document files.
Pictures (clearly identified against their text position where appropriate) should be sent in JPEG, GIFF or PNG format, please use as a high resolution if possible.
All submissions are reviewed and may be edited before inclusion.
Inclusion in a specific edition is not guaranteed.

Back copies of the Journal are available free for Society members in PDF format by emailing journal@gscalesociety.com with their name, membership number and edition required.

The G-Scale Society was founded in 1987 for those sharing a common in interest in G-Scale trains. Since then, the society has grown to over 1,300 members with local area groups across the UK.
